Last week I was talking with this colleague of mine, who has been trying to get me to blog and take to social media (don’t know why they call it that – is rest of the media anti-social?) 

Now while I like blogs, read some of them and have nothing against them, I cannot get myself to write a few random lines without getting into the piece completely. It has to be written well and read well. This is what makes blogging utterly difficult for me.  

The randomness of it psyches me! 

However, my colleague had a beautiful way to put it. 

She said writing articles and research for other mediums is like making a film. Everything has to come out well for the final product, whereas blogging is a like theatre and more so even street theatre.  Every performance is unique, comes out of the gut of the actor and responds to the environment in its own raw but very significant way! 

However I hate to admit it, she got me this time :-)
