Hi,
I had completed online technical writing course from TWB in the month of May 2008. I have not got any job. Is there anybody who had completed the similar course and still looking out for job. I regret for spending Rs. 30000. I want to know if TWB is really genuine or just a gimmick. I have not found a testimony from any online batch. It is the trainers who rate the project during the course but only the online batch gets the least score. I think the online course is not as good as that conducted in class rooms. The TWB has made good money from all. I lost Rs.30000 only.
Thanks.

Hello Shaji,
In response to your comments:
• Apart from the TWB OnCampus portal – have you uploaded your resume on any other job site?
• Yes – a student who completed the online course in April 08 – was placed with Alcatel Lucent as a technical writer.
• It is surprising that you are asking such a question considering you have completed the online course. Have you not read the testimony of online students on the TWB Alumni Blog? Typically companies hire students who have graduated with B+ grades.
• The course material of both online and classroom is the same – but the mode of delivery is different. I am sure you are working on your ‘area for improvement’, which the online trainers had pointed out during the course.
• FYI – Most of our students have been placed, some while doing the course itself.
• Last but not the least – for e.g – your sentence – “The TWB has made good money from all. I lost Rs.30000 only” – is grammatically incorrect.

Hello Lakshm,
You might be right but I am the loser. I had uploaded my resume on other job site but no response. I am still working on my ‘area for improvement’ with a hope that I will surely find a job.

I am a home maker and recently joined the FCP+ program with TWB. I do have the hands on experience with computers and English is my favorite language. The sessions at TWB are very interesting and interactive. This is the difference I found from the other centers.
