Hello Gurudeep
I am a TWB alumni. I have a suggestion for you regarding job search. Become a member of TWIN and everyday, look for job postings in this site. Believe me, there are lot of jobs in this field (IBM is not the only company.). Also, become member of Technical Writers of Bangalore Meet-up Group. Attend workshops conducted by STC and TWIN and you can learn so many things in these workshops along with getting to meet lot of people in this field. Have a little patience in your job search as the economy still needs to improve. Try to learn new tools yourself and be self motivated. You will surely get a good job. My last request is, when you get a job help other freshers in this field(atleast replying to email queries to show respect to that person).

Thanks for your advice. I shall ask you for advice when needed.
FYI, I have been an active member in the sites that you have mentioned.
Since Anitha had mentioned that TWB certified professionals are in her team, I was curious to know whether any hiring was still in place.
I believe what you mentioned to me applies to you as well.
Please check with the person (through email) in future before advising anyone on the Blog.

You have misunderstood my intentions.
I felt bad that you have asked the question twice(same question) and concerned persons had not bothered to reply to your queries at all. Thats the reason I took iniative to reply to you and not at all in the way you have perceived it. Thats the meaning of my last line that we all should help freshers when we find a job ourselves by atleast answering their questions. I am in the same boat as you in trying to find a job. Sorry for offending you but my point was completely different than what you have understtod of it. Hope I have clarified.

Hello Asha/Guru,
I am a fresher and have completed by FCP a week back. I have 3 years experience in banking, and am looking out for something related to it.Please do let me know if you come across any openings you think that may suit my profile.I would love to know your backgorunds so I would in turn be able to tell you people if and when I come across any opening that may suit you.I also login to TWIN regularly and keep myself updated on openings.
